Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen Honolulu Concert reviews
George Lopez
"The event didn't start till 8:00pm, it was suppose to start at 7:30pm. The opening act lasted 30 minutes when it did start. Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen was done by 9:30pm, he was only on for 1 hour basically. Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen didn't start till 8:30pm, 1 hour after the supposed start time of the concert. Also an observation this is the 3rd time I've seen him and apart from being on stage for only 1 hour, his material was laced from start to finish with an over abundance of foul language, every 2 or 3 minutes some foul word or phrase was coming out, it's almost as if he ran out of material or things to talk or joke about. Also the restrooms where not available after the concert, a lot of us hold it till after the concert so we won't miss anything and won't interrupt people around us. That not right keep the bathrooms open instead of having guards with guns in the front of the restrooms. OVERALL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SEE A G.L. CONCERT ANYMORE. George is turning into a foul mouth performer, I realize some comes out during a performance but not to this degree. George should retire.... This is just one person view. :-)"
OH MY GAAAAAAAAAA
The show was everything I thought it would be and more, as a newer fan of Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen, the way I knew most of his song lyrics already made it seem like I'd been a fan for a while. My favorite part was when Harry found a chicken nugget on the ground and called it a "very interesting approach," even finding the person who threw it on stage. The way he interacted with us and made us part of his very own world was absolutely incredible. This was my very first time seeing a big artist perform live, and the Harries were all incredibly friendly and it was truly magical. My friend actually sold me the ticket for that night because of the three she had, that night was the only one I could go to. And his outfit sparkled. I had the time of my life at Harry's House.
